Trailers!

Alright, someone on my friend's list put down a trailer. As usual, I hardly ever add posts, simply put, I am of the mind that personal conversation and talking, preserves a relationship, far better than random mentions of life on a website. As arrogant as this sounds, though I don't really care, I have maintained relationships with those I care about quite well by chatting with them on IM, emails, phone conversations or personal interaction. Anyways, on to the trailers!

For those that do not know, and this is one movie I am truly looking forward to. Jet Li and Jackie Chan (he was my idol ages ago), team up for a movie. I can hardly wait for this one!

http://www.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/forbiddenkingdom/

Another that really intrigues me is this one:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount_vantage/defiance/

Comedy's which are some of my favorite, here are two must watch movies!

http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/cj7/ - This one looks way too funny, ala Kung Fu Hustle, which still leaves me in stitches.

and

http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/getsmart/ - silly comedy, but those that know me, understand why i like it.

Watching this weekend, is either:

10000 BC or The Bank Job -
http://www.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/thebankjob/

Indiana Jones will be great, and that sums it up. Enjoy the weekend everyone.

I made it across and no cavity search!!

You heard me everyone, I made it across to the US. It was a long trip, but one thing I will say, if ever any of you doubt friends, I can name three that you never would ever have to. Ox, Brian and Joe have my eternal thanks for coming to pick myself up. We packed up very quickly that saturday, had a lunch and took off. Leeloo kept us company in the car, she behaved very well not a squeek out of her, AFTER the border when we let her roam the car. We made it to fish's place at about 1am, drank a shot of something in celebration and zonked out.

Where do I stand now, it is said, the bad comes with the good, the bad is mine, but I will tell you about the good. Let us see... I have a cell phone now, verizon, and I can pass it to those that contact me via email as I do NOT want to post it on here. This phone is a lifesaver because it also has GPS, and ergo, I can get around no issues. I would also like to extend thanks to Scooter for the use of Jimmy!

My apartment search goes well, tomorrow, I will be that much closer to finding one closser to work, however, I have secured one in Beltsville that is excellent in ALL aspects, except for the commute. This weekend, a friend and I will be looking at some cars, and that should be secured soon after. Nearly everything is coming together nicely.

I have left behind a lot... we always do in life, the trick is to never truly forget what is behind, and bring it with you... the experiences, the memories, and the dreams. I do not know if this is where I belong, but then, again they say the heart is where you belong, let us see if my heart is meant to be here... That aside, all of you, don't be bad, contact me! ;)

Things continue to work out... almost like a guardian stands by me...

I am not an overly religious man, as many that know me well know... wow, good english there. Anyways, the bottom line is, things continue to work out. My new company have passed me my TN sponsorship paperwork today, which is what allows me to work in the US for a year's time before having to renew it. Second, canceling my cell phone contract was going to cost me 400 dollars plus!!! Thank god, the person I spoke to was cool, and as a result the contract has been suspended for 1 year... or will be as of June 5 or 6. By then, I will be in the states and have a different cell phone then. Thirdly, out of the blue, one of my closer friends here, decides they want to continue my gym membership, so thank god on saving 90 dollars cancellation fee. Life IS good! There is one last aspect of my life that needs to work itself out, but that can wait, and I have confidence that it will in time.

Today is my LAST day at my current job, spent it relaxing, watching movies, and getting bored, I will miss these days with my new job, but let's be serious, this is NO career, and no real job... time to move on, time to find a real life!

Ok, opinions, here is hopefully my future car, and yes high gas mileage, but meh, it fits all my OTHER needs very well.

http://carmax.com/dyn/factsheet/factsheet.aspx?id=4322346

Apartments, I have seen many, and many I would want to check out... once I am there I will, no sense otherwise, let's be honest. If I can't see it first, I am not renting it. Keep your eyes out for good 1bd room apartments in the following areas: Silver Spring, College Park, Beltsville, Rockville (expensive), Bethesda (even MORE expensive), Gaithensburg, and I believe that is it for now. I have two weeks to find one once there.

Fears, many have asked me are you worried, tense about the move, truth? nope... been there, and done that, and I know I have many people that I care about and care about me that will be there to help me out, that I will return the favor to one day as well. What am I worried about most? you really want to know? Getting LOST as I drive around by myself! Come on, what is so weird about that when you can hear bombs and bullets and not worry, yet worry about being lost?! ;).

Leeloo gets to visit the vet this Tuesday to make sure she is ok. I visit many friends before I take off, and pack pack and pack some more. Brian, Ox, and Joe come up the coming Friday and we take it from there!

That is it for now... I look forward to seeing old friends again, and making new friends as well. See you all soon.

I am anxious to get this done! Two more weeks till i move my life, what an undertaking, but then again, been there, done that... what else is new... watch me in a Years time move my life elsewhere again... why not, nothing is holding me down, I have no real ties, no serious relationships, etc... Anyways, the packing begins today, slowly... but then again how hard can it be packing ONE single room! Not so hard I think... tomorrow Leeloo gets a vet visit, way past due... She's healthy enough, so should be no issues there. My attempt to look at apartments in the area, Silver Spring, Beltsville, Gaithensburg, Rockville is successful, however, realistically, unless I am THERE, it is pointless as I can not visit any of the apartments to check. So those will have to wait...

Scott has been kind enough to agree to my borrowing the jimmy for a short time period, until I get an apartment and a car of my own, which will have to happen within TWO weeks of my getting there. Lots to be done, and a short time to do it in... it is strange, you'd think i'd be more excited, but strangely i'm not, but then again, I have a lot more on my mind than that, trouble brewing in Lebanon and as a result worry for my parents, and well other things that occupy my mind as well I guess.

Anyways, four more days of work, and then relaxation, and more packing.

A job offer came to me from an amazing company, at a location that I want close enough to all the people I care about... I feel part shock, part relief (trust me, some people that supported me through it can back this up, as i was stressed MAJORLY and those that know me, know I hardly ever stress anything, part exhiliration, and part trepedition... but I made it, some amazing friends are coming to pick me up from Canada, one does not get better friends than these... the offer was good enough for a one bedroom, or a big studio at least, a car, and some comfort. When do I move, June 2nd... I start June 18. Exciting times are upon me, and once there I WILL celebrate. See you all at the other side...

First for the fun:

hm, did not work, embedding media failed for me so.. skipping it.

http://www.goldencompassmovie.com/?63129

No clue if it is accurate, typed the answers quickly, so we shall see.

Now onto other things, I have decided about two weeks and some back to find work in the States. It is an undertaking of tough proportions, but I am very close, i'd honestly say, I am there.

An employer in Rockville likes me, i have no clue why... well maybe I do, but let's stay humble now *grin*. Either way... I have a 2nd and final interview with them, the original HR person really likes me... don't ask, might be more than REALLy likes me, and I can only hope. Bottom line, they are an amazing company, and when I get a good offer from them, 3-4 weeks after I make the move yet again... I move my whole life to the MD area. Closer to some of my closest friends, and new beginnings and other important things in my life.

It is a very exciting time, stressful like most of you do not believe... I won't even begin to mention what I have been going through the last two weeks, even my closest friends do not know the extent of it, and neither will they, as simply put, this is my journey. The support however, has been amazing and very much appreciated.

I look at my life, and what an amazing trip it has been thus far, so confusing yet so enlightening... maybe one day I will settle somewhere... and find my destiny.

That is it from me, hope to see all of you soon on a permanent basis.

Maseren aka Teez

This weekend and 4 days after, my vacation officially starts!!!

I have no concerns at all for this vacation, except partially my passport. I am travelling by land from Toronto to Buffalo, and as such do not NEED a passport, however, for my own (no strip search and no cavity search) peace of mind, I did appply for one, and despite many delays which I do not want to get into now, should have it next week available for pickup from the passport office. I almost did not check on this, but there is someone of much wisdom and caring that convinced me to check on it. You know who you are, thank you ;).

Other than that, my kitten Leeloo gets dropped off at some friend's place this sunday, and Saturday/Sunday will be busy busy busy in prep for my travel. Those of you that know me, know how laid back I can be, but when it comes to travel plans, I am a tactician, planning near everything to the letter, controlling the factors, and then choosing to be able to relax on the trip itself, knowing everything is ready.

For those that do not know, or did not get my email, my travel plans are as follows (subject to change on my whim):

March 16-20, I am at my bro's place in NYC, seeing my neice which I have not seen since birth, can we say happy?
March 20th, I land in Richmond, and I am picked up by the big Bryan guy, hot tubbing and fun follows.
March 21st, I get stolen willingly and happily to MD. I am staying there till the 25th, or 24th, on the whim of my rides. Alternatively if my rides prefer, we can always go down to richmond to enjoy the rest of the weekend there. I am in good hands.
March 26-April 1: In Richmond, geeking it up with some of my closest friends. The weekend of that week is PARTY/Gathering time. This party will NOT be as wild as your New Year's party, but that is exactly how i'd want it. Come one and come all, you all know where Ox's place is.
April 2 - 6: My location and/or destination is UNKNOWN.

That is it, I am somewhat excited about this trip... I don't get excited too easily... it may hit me more once I am there. Hope to see most of you old friends there, and new friends too.

Farid

I decided to actually make a post on here, how strange is that!

Time seems to crawl, and I seem to count the days till my visiting the states, and the friends that I have not seen for about 2 years now. The nice news is going to be the fact that I will be staying in two different locations, one closer to my NOVA/MD located friends, and the other in Richmond.

This trip will break my wallet, but it will be worth it I believe, and I have needed the relaxation for a while now, so it will be good.

A little news on me, hmm, I continue to write my book, and enjoy it's creation more than any other passion I pursued perhaps, well, besides a few maybe ;). Those more artistic of you, understand what it is to truly have something that is yours and yours alone. In my book, no one can change the rules, it is my world, my control, my characters, and my story. What else can be as good? :)

That is it for now, want to know more? Make sure you visit Ox's place during my stay there, as for my time in MD, it'll be quite full so I will promise nothing, except for certain promises already made.

Farid
